White Mountain Apache Tribe
Rural Water System EIS
NEPA Scoping Period

The WMAT EIS scoping period has ended. You may review project information and watch a recording of the virtual scoping meeting if you missed the live broadcast. WMAT EIS scoping comments are no longer being accepted for inclusion into the Draft EIS. However, you are welcome to submit a comment for future consideration. We request your input to aid in the identification of key issues and alternatives that should be considered in the EIS.

There was one public scoping information meeting to present an overview of the project and provide an opportunity to ask questions and comment in a chat format. The meeting was held in a virtual format using the Facebook Live platform in conjunction with the WMAT Chairwoman Gwendena Lee-Gatewood’s weekly public address on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10 AM Arizona time. A recording of the virtual scoping meeting is below, following welcome videos from WMAT Tribal Chairwoman Lee-Gatewood and Bureau of Reclamation Project Manager Dominic Graziani.
